His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa paid a visit to the West Busaiteen housing project, in line with the policies of the government, under his leadership, to increase the number of the beneficiaries of the housing services, and ensure the citizens better living standards.
HRH Premier issued directives to speed up the construction of the project and provide it with the necessary services so as to be ready in August, 2013, requesting the concerned sides to coordinate among themselves to achieve that.
He ordered commercial facilities in the Busaiteen housing project so as to cope with the population growth there and cater to the commercial needs of the area.
He affirmed that the government is interested in the housing issue out of its desire to provide all requirements of decent living for the citizens.
“The government has adopted strategies based on successive initiatives to increase the number of housing projects and provide the best housing services for the citizens,” he said.
“We always look forward to ensuring the best living standards for our people, so we are doing our best to overcome the challenges of limited resources and small geographical area,” he also said, stressing that “our strong resolve to meet the aspirations of our people have enable us to overcome those challenges and succeed in providing services that appeal to the citizens and ensure their comfort.”
The Prime Minister was informed about the models of housing units in the project, and expressed admiration of their advanced level of design and building, calling for the need to speed up the implementation of the government’s projects, especially the housing ones, taking into account the efficiency side so as to launch more vital projects in record time.
“In light of our strategy in which the citizens are the focal point and the core of government action, we are determined to expand housing and services projects that provide decent housing which is the main concern of the citizens,” he concluded.
