His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa pledged to bring the masterminds and perpetrators of the Riffa terror blast to justice.
“The instigators and the bombers are all accomplices in the heinous crime”, he said, vowing to hold all parties involved in the terror blast accountable for justice to be done.
HRH the Premier was speaking as he paid a visit to the majlis of the deputy chairman of the Ruling Family Council His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa.
He said that instigators inciting on terror would not escape with impunity, as no one is above the law or outside the realm of the law.
“We will hold the terror masterminds and backers accountable with force of the law”, HRH the Premier said, describing the recent Riffa bomb last as part of a terror organization.
He said that suspects had already been arrested, adding that all accomplices in the cowardly terror blast would be tracked down and brought to justice.
He affirmed the Government’s firm resolve to root out the extremist and violent ideas which bred the terrorists who perpetrated the Riffa blast.
He assured citizens that the Government would spare no effort for security and stability to prevail, vowing an iron-fist in combating terrorists who are seeking to fuel social rifts and to the clock back.
HRH the Premier revealed that the security agencies had been ordered to put an end to systematic incitement which seeks to justify and legitimize terror.
“Our duty is to ensure citizens feel safe at home and in their country. This won’t be achieved unless the rule of the law prevails and wrongdoers are held accountable”, he said.
He urged national unity to protect the country and preserve the achievements amid regional upheavals.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa expressed thanks to HRH the Premier for his keenness on reaching out to citizens and following up public issues, thus setting a model to emulate in government work.
HRH the Premier then paid a similar visit to the majlis of the Bahrain Businessmen’s Society honorary chairman Khalid Almoayyed, commending the important role of the private sector in revitalizing the economy.
He stressed the importance of security and stability for the march of development to continue unhindered.
He deplored attempts to derail the development march and disrupt civil peace, saying that democracy has ever been a tool of sabotage and terror.
He urged all people, institutions and societies to voice a clear and unequivocal stance against violence, terror and sabotage, stressing the need to step up efforts to achieve national consensus and avert divisions.
Bahrain Businessmen’s Society honorary chairman Khalid Almoayyed paid tribute to HRH the Premier for the visit, stressing firm support to the wise leadership in undertaking necessary steps to maintain national security and stability.
HRH the Premier then visited the majlis of the Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, where he affirmed the Government’s resolve to promote citizens’ welfare and achieve sustained development.
