Human Rights Minister Dr. Salah bin Ali Abdulrahman asserted that national consensus is the ideal way to achieve more progress in the democratic development march.
He was speaking as he received MP Dr. Ali Ahmed. He lauded the Representatives Council’s support to legislations aimed at boosting human rights in Bahrain, commending the ongoing cooperation with the legislative power to serve the nation and citizens.
He also emphasised the importance of strong sense of belonging to the nation and adherence to national unity, being the main pillars of social growth. He urged to take advantage of the Holy Month of Ramadan to further cement the Bahraini social texture, affirming that the Bahraini people have always been known for their kindness and cohesion.
He asserted that the government cares for the rights of all citizens irrespective of their doctrines, trends and regions. He added that the development process is oriented to all people and that national consensus is the optimum way to go farther in democratic development.
MP Dr. Ali Ahmed praised the efforts of the Human Rights Ministry, stressing that cooperation between the legislative and executive powers is the cornerstone to bring about more national and development achievements for citizens. He also commended the Human Rights Ministry’s keenness on defending human rights inside and outside Bahrain.
