Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance, Minister in charge of Oil and Gas Affairs, Chairman of Tatweer Petroleum chaired the Board of Directors Meeting for Tatweer Petroleum Company which was held this afternoon at the company’s main office in Suefra.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Tatweer shareholders: Nogaholding, Mubadala and Occidental Petroleum companies including Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy UAE.
During the meeting, Shaikh Ahmed and members of the Board reviewed the company activities and performance in the first half of 2013.
Before closing the meeting, Shaikh Ahmed thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, The Crown Prince, Deputy supreme Commander and first Deputy primer for their wise leadership and their continued support to the oil and gas industry in Bahrain in general and Tatweer Petroleum in particular.
Shaikh Ahmed also thanked the management and the employees of Tatweer Petroleum for their dedication and continued efforts to increase oil and gas production in support to Bahrain’s economy.
