Trip to Innovation (TTI), in cooperation with MenaIP, an initiative launched by MenaITech, the regional company specialized in building and deploying human resources applications, has recently organized its 10th interactive workshop, which aimed at advancing the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit among Jordanian youth in the telecommunications industry and the IT sector.
Held under the title “Sustainable and socially responsible entrepreneurship,” the event witnessed the participation of more than 100 Jordanian youth and university students who came specifically from across the Kingdom to take part in the workshop which focused on the principles of entrepreneurial excellence and ways of founding productive projects as well as generating new job opportunities.
Encompassing a symposium filled with engaging discussions, the workshop acquainted participants with the success stories of a number of regionally well-known Jordanian entrepreneurs and businessmen. It also reviewed innovation tools that entrepreneurs need to draw up their business plans and convert their ground-breaking ideas into reality.
“As part of our corporate responsibility program along with being a national company that pioneers in developing human capital information systems, we are constantly keen in MenaITech to inspire the next generation of highly capable and talented youth. Therefore, we introduced MenaIP initiative to enhance youth skills and capacities in the IT sector and facilitate transforming into knowledge-building and technology-development communities,” MenaITech’s CEO, Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh, said.

Besides to inspirational video presentations, the workshop featured a number of interactive discussions about entrepreneurship-related topics, such as sustainability and incubation success stories in the local market.
