VIVA footballers had an excursion to Old Trafford – Theatre of Dreams, the second largest stadium in England and home to Manchester United football club. It was certainly a day to remember for all young VIVA footballers who were inspired to dream big, experienced the history of one of the world’s most famous football club in all its glory and visited the players’ changing room, the museum and its magnificent trophy room. The young footballers even got a chance to walk through the 100 year old players’ tunnel into the pitch and shopped for Manchester United merchandise at the megastore.
“A dream come true to visit the home of the Manchester United club try on shirts belonging to famous footballers’ changing room and even walked through the players’ tunnel as if you were part of the first team. I had been looking forward to this tour and it was a truly motivating and learning experience personally for me and I am sure for other players too,” one of the VIVA players,” said.
The tour to Old Trafford marked the culmination of football training program for VIVA footballers in the United Kingdom, who learn fundamental techniques of the game, tricks to master the skills and the Manchester United Soccer School code of conduct of communication and discipline on and off the field.
