His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received at Al-Sakhir Palace citizens hosting Ramadan majlises.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier were also present.
Addressing the ceremony, HM the King congratulated all the audience on the last ten days of the holy month, thanking them for hosting Ramadan majlises and opening their hearts before their homes to citizens and residents in the oasis of security – Bahrain.
He hailed majlisses as part of Bahrain’s long-standing genuine Arab traditions, stressing the importance of preserving theses platforms as they promote amity and harmony and consolidate national unity.
He paid tribute to the National Assembly for endorsing patriotic recommendations that reflect Bahrainis’ keenness on security and stability, hailing the official and popular appreciations of the legislations.
Dr. Dhafer Ahmed Al-Omran delivered a speech on behalf of citizens congratulating HM the King, HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince on the holy month of Ramadan.
He hailed HM the King’s keenness on preserving majlisses, being an in integral part of Bahrain’s deep-rooted social and cultural heritage.
He stressed the important role of majlisses in preserving the social fabric, describing them as traditional platforms symbolizing good citizenship, reflecting harmony and amity bonding Bahrainis.
