His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa visited headquarters of the National Unity Assembly where he met with the Executive Committee Head Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Mahmood Al Mahmood, and members of the committee and the Central Authority.
The visit is part of HRH the Prime Minister’s continuous interaction with relevant parties to inform them about the government’s efforts to carry out the recommendations of the National Assembly.
HRH the Prime Minister commended the highly patriotic stance of the National Unity Assembly when they gathered at Al-Fateh Mosque to re-emphasise their loyalty to the nation and thwart the attempts of the conspirators to hijack the nation.
“As we foiled the conspiracy together, we have to stand together now in one trench to eradicate terrorism,” he said, urging solidarity with the government in combating terrorism and toughening up punishment on its perpetrators and instigators.
He stressed the government’s resolve to carry out the will of the Bahraini people to protect the society from the dangers of terrorism.
He pledged never to succumb to the pressure of terrorism, vowing to eliminate it by might of the law and the support of all.
HRH the Prime Minister underscored the importance of cohesion and unity to boost the national and popular capabilities to confront the challenges and circumstances undergone by Bahrain, especially in light of the organised and systematic terrorism targeting the nation.
He urged to place the national interest above anything else, pointing out that terrorism and those instigating it will be faced by the rule of law and tougher punishment.
He stressed that all efforts will be made to prevent recurrence of the regrettable incidents undergone by Bahrain, vowing zero tolerance to anyone who jeopardises national security, stability and unity.
He added that the historic patriotic stances in times of crises will remain cherishes by the national memory, stressing that national unity and territorial integrity is top priority.
Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Mahmood extended thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for the visit which reflects respect to the Bahraini people who stood one rank at Al-Fateh assembly to deter the ambient danger. He added that the visit also reflects HRH the Prime Minister’s respect to the civil society institutions and political societies’ national role.
