The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) held a luncheon at the Bapco Club in recognition of the efforts of its newest graduating batch of scholarship students. The luncheon was part Bapco’s ongoing support to the Bahraini youths to qualify the national cadres in serving the aspired goals and objectives of the Kingdom.
The event was attended by Bapco’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Acting Chief Executive, Adel Khalil Al-Moayyed, members of the senior management, as well as officials of the Training and Development Department in BAPCO.
Al Moayyed hailed the students’ dedicated efforts and success in passing the requirements of the program. He expressed pride in the role of Bapco Scholarship Program in supporting the Bahraini youths and qualifying them according to the latest and most advanced academic methods worldwide.
Bapco Scholarship Program is in line with its dedicated efforts aimed to qualify the national cadre and enable them to fulfill the needs of the labor market. A total of 18 freshly graduated students were sent abroad by Bapco to pursue their academic endeavours in a variety disciplines including Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Accounting and Finance in leading universities in the UK, USA, and Australia.
