F&E Aerospace, organisers of the Dubai Airshow are launching a new event alongside this November’s show; giving families and enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the show’s world class flying display for the very first time. Skyview at the Dubai Airshow this November will be held in a dedicated area next to the Dubai Airshow trade event from 18 to 21 November 2013 at Dubai World Central (DWC), Jebel Ali, Dubai.
Skyview at the Dubai Airshow will feature a purpose-built grandstand which can seat up to 6,000 visitors each day. F&E Aerospace are fully committed to making Skyview soar to great heights with crowds of over 16,000 expected throughout the 4 days; to watch the world’s top pilots manoeuvre their aircraft in the Dubai skies.
Whilst the exhibitions halls and static display will be accessible to Dubai Airshow attendees only; there will be a range of activities on offer at Skyview to entertain the masses in a fun, informative and interactive way in addition to the flying display. There will also be food and beverage outlets catering to every taste and the organisers are confident that Skyview will offer Dubai front row access to the action.
“The move to our new venue – Dubai World Central has given us the opportunity to develop and grow the show and as a team we couldn’t think of anything better than to build a separate area especially for the local community. We’re putting together a special programme that will give spectators something to remember both on the ground and in the sky. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Skyview in November,” Sharief Fahmy, CEO of F&E Aerospace spoke about the launch of Skyview, said.
The Dubai Airshow is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and in co-operation with Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports and the UAE Armed Forces.
