President of the Association of Arab Economists and Administrators in the European Union (EUAAEA) Professor Majid Khalil Hussein, announced, from the Netherlands-based Headquarters, winning of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain of the 2013 European prize granted for the international personality of the year, for his numerous achievements in the field of international relations.
Professor Hussein said the prize is an annual global professional one awarded by the EUAAEA to personalities and institutions that have contributed to bridging the professional relations between European countries and the EU countries. The prize focuses on the availability of excellence in the field of international relations, and is awarded to leading figures and institutions, which play a vital role in building a balanced system of international relations of a strategic nature and institutional dimension for the interest of Euro-Arab partnerships.
It is scheduled that HRH the Premier to be honored in a grand ceremony on the occasion of the EUAAEA Conference on 7 October 2013, which translates the EUAEA’s vision for bridging the Euro-Arab relations through professional partnerships.
The EUAAEA was established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands as a professional non-profit organization that aims to develop economic relations between those who work in the fields of economic and trade, and to facilitate the establishment of joint investments, exchange of experiences, support social ties, and bolster cultural aspect among professionals of the Arab countries and their EU’s counterparts.
The EUAAEA includes prominent Bahraini figures serving in leading positions, in addition to European and Arab professional personalities; Chairman of Arab-Dutch Chamber of Commerce and Industry businessman Hassan bin Ibrahim Kamal, Chairperson of the EUAAEA’s European Centre for Businesswomen, MP Ibtisam Abdul-Rahman Hijris, Chairman of the European Center for Civil Society Organizations, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-karim Al-Mannai, Chairman of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies and Researches, Professor Yousef Abdul-Ghaffar, Member of the European Studies Centre for Banking and Financial Sciences, Dr. Osama Mohammed Al-Bahar, member of the EUAEA Advisory Council, Dr. Adel Ahmed Al-Marzouki.
