Japan will continue to condemn the spate of violence in Bahrain and will support the initiation of dialogues between the concerned parties to resolve any outstanding issues, according to a top Japanese diplomat in Bahrain.
The Japanese Ambassador Shigeki Sumi ahead of the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain told media that in principal Japan doesn’t condone violence and urged peaceful resolution of the any dispute or any difference of opinion.
Ambassador Sumi, who was responding to a question about his country’s position on violence, said that during the summit between the two premiers the overall situation in the region, in general, and violence in Bahrain, in particular, will take a center stage during the political discussions.
