The Palestinian Awqaf (i.e. Endowments) and Religious Affairs’s Minister, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, praised the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in supporting the Palestinian cause and assistance to the Palestinian people, especially major development projects from Kingdom of Bahrain’s Government and people to their Palestinian brethren, and also praised the efforts of Royal Charity Organization (RCO) led by its Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Organization’s executive management and their capable and efficient philanthropic deeds.
The Palestinian Endowments’ Minister also congratulated His Majesty the King on being named the Personality of the Year 1434H by the International Organization for Memorization of the Holy Koran in recognition of His Majesty the King’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims and His Majesty’s constant keenness on serving the Holy Koran and its memorization, and he also praised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Government and people commending their supportive stances with the Palestinian people and their just cause.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash said that he was honored to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and attend the inauguration ceremony of the Bahrain Holy Koran, which comes as a confirmation of His Majesty the King’s well-deserved selection as the Personality of the Year 1434H by International Organization for Memorization of the Holy Koran in recognition of His Majesty the King’s continuous services and accomplishments in Islamic work especially Memorizers and Reciters of the Holy Koran and philanthropic work in general.
This came as Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash was received the RCO’s delegation – led by the Organization’s Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyed – currently visiting Palestinian territories so as to implement some development projects for the brotherly Palestinian people in compliance with the noble directive of His Majesty the King.
The RCO’s Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyed, conveyed compliments from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Organization’s board of trustees to the brotherly Palestinian people, highlighting the solidarity visit which comes to support our Palestinian brethren and family emanating from the duty to keep in touch with our brethren in creed and Arabism.
Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyed said that it is high time for the Arab peoples to intensity moral and material support to the Palestinian people, asserting that the Palestinian people are destined to emerge victorious, expressing his hope for their near salvation from occupation and also praised the persistence of the brotherly Palestinian people. Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyed confirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continual provision of support and assistance to the brotherly Palestinian people and support to the Palestinian issue. Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyed cited the Royal Charity Organization (RCO)’s continuous support to the Palestinian brethren through implementing a number of development and relief projects in various health, educational and cultural fields.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash praised the efforts of His Majesty the King in supporting the Palestinian cause and assistance to the brotherly Palestinian people and also expressed utmost gratitude on behalf of himself and all the Palestinian people to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Government and people for their continual support to the Palestinian people and their just cause, asserting the importance and volume of Bahraini assistance to Palestinians and its role in boosting and consolidating the Palestinian people’s persistence on their land. Al-Habbash also highlighted the need for integration of roles between various supporting agencies in partnership with all non-governmental organizations, local and international partners in Palestinian and provision of the necessary facilitations for them in order to increase the volume of support and assistance provided to the Palestinian people under difficult conditions imposed by the occupation.
The Palestinian Minister of Endowments said that “our conflict with the occupation embodies all sorts of conflict”, he urged for more support from the Arab peoples, pointing out that a pilgrimage to the holy lands is akin to jihad and he also urged Muslims worldwide to visit Al-Quds.
