The ever-popular cartoon character Scooby Doo made his Bahrain debut on Wednesday at the Bahrain International Conference and Convention Center (BIECC) with his family-friendly musical “Scooby Doo Live! Musical Mysteries.”
In this original stage adaptation by legendary Hollywood studio Warner Brothers, Scooby and the Mystery Inc. Gang – Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma – try to solve a the case a trouble-making ghost who is haunting the local theater. The show, which will run twice a day at 5 pm and 8 pm from August 21 – 25, features a cast of world-class musical theater professionals, clever staging tricks, and eerie special effects.
In conjunction, the BIECC will continue to welcome kids and parents at Nakhool City held every day from 10 am – to 4 pm throughout the festival. The city boasts a wide range of multi-cultural activities and workshops in the accompaniment of the festival’s beloved mascot Nakhool and his partner Nakhoola.
Held under the slogan “A Journey of Joy”, the popular annual festival takes place this year during the leisure tourism season of the ministry’s Manama Capital of Arab Tourism 2013 program.
Tickets for the festival’s events, which run from August 18 – September 9, are available at Virgin Megastore in Bahrain City Center.
