The Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday passed a draft law on lifting restrictions from the private companies to work in postal services during the weekly Cabinet meeting chaired by His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa held at Gudaibia Palace.
This was announced by the Minister of State for Information Affairs Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab during the weekly media briefing on Cabinet meeting at Gudaibia Palace on Sunday.
Draft Law of the Unified System for the Activity of Private Companies Working in the Field of Express Mail and Parcels to the Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
The Cabinet discussed and approved the memorandum presented by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs on the draft law of the unified system for the activity of private companies working in the field of express mail and parcels to the Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
“The aim of the draft law of the unified system is to fill the legal void which affects the postal sector and facilitates the unity among the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in this vital area,” the Minister said, adding that the details of the Law would be made public by the concerned authorities.
