National Guard Chief Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa on Tuesday met with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and conveyed greetings from the wise leadership to the Government and people of Pakistan as well as wishes of further progress and prosperity.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and steadily-growing relations, particularly in the economic, investment and defence sectors.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif described Pakistan and Bahrain as allies in maintaining regional peace and combating terror and extremism.
