HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, emphasized that the Constitutional Court is one of the essential elements in the national organisational setup and one of the pillars which consecrate and safeguard freedoms, pointing out that the accomplishments of the Constitutional Court should be manifested clearly to public opinion because it the Constitutional Court is the cornerstone which fends off and protects the State of institutions and the law.
This came when HRH the Prime Minister received this morning at Gudaibiya Palace the chief magistrate of the Constitutional Court, Salim bin Mohammed Al-Kawwari, and members of the Constitutional Court on the occasion of the beginning of the new judicial year who presented to HRH the Prime Minister a special copy of the first edition of the Constitutional Studies Magazine published by the Court.
HRH the Prime Minister emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness on ensuring the independence of the judicial authority in order to ensure the protection of rights. HRH the Prime Minister praised the content of the magazine which includes constitutional and legal research studies and which introduces the Kingdom’s accomplishments in this field, wishing the chairman and members of the Constitutional Court all success in performing the duties of their job in serving the Homeland and citizens.
