Chairman of Bapco’s Board of Directors and Acting Chief Executive, Adel Khalil Al Moayyed on Sunday received HE Shigeki Sumi, the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain during his visit to Bapco’s headquarters in Awali.
The two sides reviewed results and recommendations that HE the Japanese Prime Minister included during his recent visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the directives of HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and Minister in Charge of the Oil & Gas Affairs. The two parties reviewed a number of areas of mutual cooperation in the oil and gas sector. The two parties discussed technical cooperation in the areas of production and exploration.
Al Moayyed expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Japanese Ambassador for visiting Bapco and expressed Bapco’s pride in this visit, hailing the experience of the Japanese and the prestigious rank among leading international industries. Al Moayyed expressed that he looks forward to further mutual cooperation in order to promote the aspiration of the industrial sector and meet the needs of the Kingdom and Japan.
