Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading communications services provider, said that as part of its ongoing strategy to enhance its services and keep them on par with the highest international standards, Batelco’s data network will undergo a major enhancement, beginning on 16 September and continuing for a period of two months to cover all areas of Bahrain.
Batelco Business customers who may be affected have been notified in writing. Minimal disruption to service is anticipated as the upgrade work will take place between the hours of 12am and 6am, resulting in an outage of approximately half an hour in each location.
The upgrade is aimed to specifically enhance Batelco’s data services such as narrow-band MPLS, Broadband, ISDN and Mobile data.
