Out of over 100 companies scheduled to be recognized for their business excellence, some of the winners of this year’s The BIZZ Awards have been revealed by the event’s organizer, the WORLD CONFEDERATION OF BUSINESSES, in preparation for the upcoming ceremony to be held on September 29 at the Atlantis The Palm Hotel in Dubai.
The Atlantis The Palm is one of the best hotels in the world, a true paradise of entertainment and exploration. The third THE BIZZ event of the year will focus mainly on companies from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), although business excellence awards will also be given out to companies from other parts of the world.
Winners include 20 companies from the Americas, 20 from Africa, 20 from Europe, 20 from Asia, and 50 from the MENA. Some of the names revealed to date include: Doha Bank (Qatar), BBK (Bahrain), Abu Dhabi University (UAE), Oman Arab Bank (Oman),and Zajil International Telecom (Kuwait).
The winners of THE BIZZ have set themselves apart for their ability to maintain high standards of business leadership, management systems, quality in goods and/or services, innovation and creativity, CSR, etc., thus demonstrating their good business practices. This is the third time WORLDCOB has organized this awards ceremony in the Middle East.
The first time was in 2009 at the Burj Al Arab, while the second event was held last year in Doha, Qatar. The WORLD CONDERATION OF BUSINESSES (WORLDCOB) has given out over 3,000 The BIZZ awards to companies from nearly 80 countries, and the number has only continued to grow after our recent The BIZZ Latin America ceremony in Los Cabos, Mexico this past July 26 and 27th.
