Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro visited yesterday morning Ortanadalo Fabric Factory, which is owned by a group Turkish investors as well as Prisma Paint Factory that located in North Sitra.
During his tour to Ortanadalo Fabric Factory, where he was received by one of the factory owner Irfan Argan and General Manager Mohammed Amin, the minister was briefed on the nature and work progress of the factory that is located on an area of 37.5000 square meters with an investment worth BD19 million.
Irfan Argan confirmed that the geographical location and facilities provided by the government is a major motivation for the company to expand its investments and to select Bahrain as other front for the company to expand its investment in the Middle East.
A similar visit was made to Prisma Paint Factory, there was at reception Bassam Khaled Al Gosaibi, who explained to the minister about factory’s activities which specializes in producing inks and dyes and is built on an area of about 4 thousand square meters with an investment of 600 thousand dinars. The minister also listened to an explanation about company’s development plans as well as future expansion plans.
Dr. Fakhro confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain provides facilities and privileges and holds an investment environment stimulates investors. This contributed significantly to develop industrial activity in the recent years to form a strong pillar in the national economy.
