Supreme Council for Women organized a training course in cooperation with United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on entrepreneurship for the beneficiaries of the translation project at (UNIDO) headquarters.
The Head of the programme, Dr. Hisham Hussain lectured on training the beneficiaries from the project and how to invest in it.
He also urged them to establish small enterprises in the area of translation to elevate the standard and stimulate the spirit of initiation and active contribution in the national economy, in addition to providing the beneficiaries with the required tools and skills to establish their special project with proper ways.
The training course will be executed under the supervision of specialists in this field, and creating an understanding new generation based on proper scientific basis in the area of entrepreneurship.
The project aims at rehabilitation of some women job seekers in the area of translation, and preparing female specialists cadres in the area of written and simultaneous interpretation.
The project also contributes in resolving the problem of women job seekers, and provides new jobs for them, for the profession of translation attains a great demand in the labour market, and is highly requested by students, and employers, for translation is a specialized profession, which requires accurate and specified language skills, that has high economic returns.
