Commander of the Royal Guard, Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, held talks with the Chief of Joint Staff, of Japan’s Self Defense Forces General, Shigeru Iwasaki.
Talks, on the sidelines of Shaikh Nasser’s official visit to Japan, focused on ways of bolstering joint cooperation and launching joint projects in the coming period.
Shaikh Nasser highlighted the recent positive developments regarding the friendly Bahraini-Japanese relations in light of the directives of their wise leaderships.
He praised the Japanese Self-Defence Forces’ varied programmes and advanced level, and discussed with General Shigeru Iwasaki ways of enhancing joint cooperation in the near future.
Shaikh Nasser and General Shigeru Iwasaki exchanged commemorative gifts.
Shaikh Nasser also visited the headquarters of the Japanese Self-Defence Forces and was informed about their daily work and programmes, and wrote a statement in the VIP register.
Shaikh Nasser’s visit confirms the solid relations bonding Bahrain and Japan in all fields.
Royal Navy Captain Khalid Abdulrahman from the Directorate of Planning, Development Information Technology and Head of the Royal Guard Office Captain Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Ajman attended the meeting.
