Chief Public Security Chief, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan stressed that Kingdom of Bahrain lives atmospheres of freedoms and democratic life, of which many states in the world lack, therefore they are proud of those national gains and preserve them.
In a special statement published by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), and on the sidelines of his patronage of the closing ceremony for the Crime Exhibition events, Major-General Tariq Al-Hassan expressed his optimism with the continuity of Bahrain’s march alongside the steps of development and reform.
Major-General Tariq Al Hassan highlighted that those development and reform steps were asserted by HM the King in his Royal speech at the opening of the fourth session of the third legislative term, where he highlighted that it was the basis for the sustainable development.
“We are optimistic with the presence of the National Assembly, and stress on the importance of the national dialogue in the Kingdom, for the continuity of the democratic experience asserted by HM the King is an issue of pride for all of us,” Major-General Tariq Al-Hassan said.
Major-General Al-Hassan reinforced that a lot of National Assembly’s recommendations related to tightening penalties for combating terrorism and protecting society from the terrorist acts have been achieved, and they are completing the rest at the level of the Interior Ministry and the relevant bodies.
Major-General Al-Hassan stressed that the support of the wise leadership and the government to speed the application of those recommendations is a pride for them all, expressing his optimism that matters are getting better at all levels.
In regard of University of Bahrain hosting the Crime Exhibition, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan said “University of Bahrain is always a pioneer in submitting distinctive projects and touches the real life we live, and the importance of the exhibition is in filling the gap between the theoretical and practical sides in a way to make them close together as possible.”
Major-General Al-Hassan added that the Crime Exhibition explains for the students all issues related to the future action, and how to work according to the criminal justice, their relations with the relevant parties, and enforcing the law through its practical side.
