The Egyptian Capital Cairo hosts during the first quarter of 2014 the joint Gulf Egyptian Economic Forum, which will be organized through cooperation and coordination between the Federation of GCC Chambers and the General Federation of the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
On this occasion, President of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Essam Abdullah Fakhroo said that the organization of that forum comes in implementation of the proposals and recommendation lately submitted during the meeting that gathered him with the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Essam Saleh Awad.
Dr. Essam also highlighted that organizing such forum comes out of the response of the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce concerning such proposal.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo called on the businessmen and representatives of the private sector in Kingdom of Bahrain to actively participate in the forum, which will discuss ways and mechanisms to develop the relations between the Gulf businessmen and their Egyptian counterparts, aiming at elevating the economic and commercial level between both sides.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo also said that the forum aims at reviewing means of facilitating difficulties that face the economic cooperation march between GCC countries and Egypt to establish a commercial exchange consistent with the available capabilities of each party.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo pointed out that the stability of the security situations existing in Egypt is encouraging and stimulates the initiative to activate and develop Bahraini Egyptian economic and trade relations, and stressed the Chamber’s keenness to benefit from the depth and specialty of the relation between the two brotherly countries.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo added that during the next near period, there will be a detailed announcement of the themes and issues of the forum.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo highlighted that holding such forums comes in accordance with the directives of the wise political leadership in GCC countries supporting the efforts of enforcing security, and stability in Arab Republic of Egypt, and the need to support the joint economic work between the GCC states and Egypt.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo also pointed out the importance of encouraging such work in this phase, where they all face economic and political challenges, and they can overcome them through the joint economic theme that requires them to gather between the businessmen in both sides.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo valued the response of the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce with the proposal of the Chamber to organize the mentioned forum, which affirms the stance of the Gulf private sector supporting the Egyptian Economy.
Dr. Essam Fakhroo said that supporting such Arab Country in the light of the exceptional conditions of Egypt, pointing out that the stability of the current security conditions in Egypt is encouraging and stimulating the initiative to activate and develop economic and Egyptian Gulf trade relations.
