The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is gearing up to host Invest in Bahrain 2013 forum and exhibition.
It is the 8th edition of Investment forum of a series of events organise by the ministry under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa that will be held on October 30 to 31 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference.
“The forum is part of the programmes of the ministry to enhance national economy as part of the directives of the Leadership and government to enhance the position of Bahrain as international center for industry, commerce and services. The event introduces investment opportunities for investors from inside and outside Bahrain,” the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in a statement said.
This year forum is being organised in cooperation of public and private sectors such as Economic Development Board, Central Bank of Bahrain and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“The forum is an annual event that was organised for the first time in 2003. This year event will witness close cooperation between the ministry and GCC agencies and organisations. The event is expected to attract a huge number of businessmen, businesswomen and local and foreign inventors, in addition to Arab and international economic personalities,” MOIC statement added.
On the sideline of the forum, the ministry will organise an exhibition for pioneer national industries that associate companies from various sectors. The ministry is expected that the investment opportunities at the forum will attract many investors because of the success records of the previous events that led to the entry of many foreign companies that established their businesses in Bahrain.
