Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani stressed that the fourth session of the third legislative term will witness a legislative act to support security, economy, translate and implement the contents of the Royal speech of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He was speaking during the Bureau of the Council of Representatives meeting, chaired by the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, in presence of the first deputy chairman Abdullah Bin Khalaf Al Doosari, and the second deputy chairman Adel Bin Abdul Rahman Al Ma’awda.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Secretary General for the Human, Financial Resources, Information Technology and Services, Mohammed Ghareeb, the Head of the Counselors at the Council Dr. Saleh Al-Ghatheeth, and Director of Presidency Affairs, Samir Al Fayez.
He also said that it would reinforce the national unity and the state of institutions and law, in addition to supporting all means of the success of the stable national dialogue, and the continuity of the pioneering reform project.
Al-Dhahrani expressed his utmost appreciation for the constructive and fruitful cooperation between the Council of Representatives and the government chaired by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Al-Dhahrani also lauded the continuous support of HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
Al-Dhahrani highlighted that the Bureau of the Council of Representatives reviewed in its meeting on Thursday, the proposal of the Committee’s members to prepare a draft reply for the Royal speech.
During the meeting, the Bureau also reviewed the proposal of the members of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division for Kingdom of Bahrain, and the requests of the members of the Council’s permanent quarterly and quality committees.
Al-Dhahrani pointed out that the Council would discuss the formation of those committees, the laws issued during the past period, the letters received from the government in regard of the decrees of laws and draft laws, in addition to the letters received from the government on the proposals with desire.
