The GCC region’s first two-day Professional Liability Insurance Forum, which opened on Monday at the Ritz Carlton in the Kingdom of Bahrain, witnessed a strong participation with more than 300 high ranking professionals from the insurance industry and other sectors.
The event’s first day focused on building further awareness of Occupational Insurance across the Arab insurance markets by highlighting and exploring a number of key issues and trends related to Professional Liability risk across sectors, Banker’s Blanket Bonds (BBB as well other risks associated with political violence.
The day saw a number of high level speakers address and engage with business leaders on innovative solutions available for mitigating and managing risk in today’s increasingly challenging business and economic climate. In particular, the Forum looked in-depth the needs of a number of select professions including banking, finance, the medical field and various other professional services.
The Forum is also comprised of an exhibitors’ area, where participants were able to directly network with other attendees and engage with insurers offering various professional liability insurance and other products.
