The Cabinet on Sunday discussed and approved the memorandum presented by the Minister of State for Communications, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, on the request of the British Telecom to establish Regional Headquarters for part of its Services in the Kingdom of Bahrain that will comprise mainly of voice services through the Internet or VoIP.
The regional headquarters will cover the Middle East and North Africa and it will support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Investment Centre in the communications industry.
This was stated by Sameera Rajab, the State Minister for Information Affairs and Official Spokesperson for the Government during the post Cabinet meeting briefing.
