MBA Fakhro Group signed an agreement donating advertising space to beneficiary companies of ‘business angels’ network Tenmou.
Under the agreement companies that receive funding and guidance from Tenmou will be able to promote their businesses through MBA Fakhro’s network of Megacom outdoor billboards, located at high traffic locations throughout Bahrain, and indoor LCD displays, located in high traffic shopping centres, including Bahrain City Centre and Bahrain Mall.
“Marketing plans can make or break businesses and so MBA Fakhro is happy to be in the position to support young businessmen and women by giving them advertising space that will make their products and services visible to the masses. Studies have shown that billboards, both indoor and outdoor, are among the most effective advertising methods in Bahrain, especially early on in marketing campaigns,” said Fakhro.
“I’m very proud to be able to support Tenmou and its beneficiary companies. Tenmou programmes play an important role funding young budding entrepreneurs and teaching them the skills they need to help their businesses take off. It is a service that Bahrain has lacked for a long time and I am very happy to see the good work they have done,” he added.
“Although we are very selective with who we decide to fund, insisting on sound business plans and unique ideas, there is always an element of risk with start ups,” Tenmou CEO Hasan Haider, said.
“Being able to offer advertising space at key locations significantly reduces the risk our beneficiary companies have to go through,” he added.
Fakhro has recently joined Tenmou as a mentor, taking new entrepreneurs under his wings by offering them advice. He is also due to speak about business issues to young entrepreneurs during the upcoming Tenmou events.
Meanwhile, MBA Fakhro’s own Entrepreneurship Mentoring Programme is also in full swing. Two candidates, Shaima Turaif and Nasser Al Awadhi, have been selected for the five-week progamme. They have been assigned tasks related to marketing and social media for the company’s various websites. Fakhro, along with colleagues and associates, are also offering their advice on Turaif’s and Al Wadhi’s own business plans and monitoring their progress.
