What can be described as a huge endorsement for the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), at the Dubai Airshow the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) said it would host its next Middle East Business Aviation Conference (MEBAC) in Bahrain on 15th January 2014.
Hosted under the patronage of the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA), the conference will gather some of the most prominent leaders of the region’s aviation sector to discuss the latest issues affecting the region’s business aviation market. Furthermore, attendees will visit the Bahrain International Airshow as guests of the BCAA.
“We are delighted that MEBAA have decided to host their next MEBAC event in Bahrain.
“The timing the day before the Bahrain International Airshow, will provide a real boost to the opening day of the show providing our participants and exhibitors the opportunity to network with MEBAA members invited to attend the conference,” speaking about the conference, Bahrain’s Minister for Transportation, Kamal Bin Ahmed Mohamed, said.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain is an important market for our members and as such the ability for us to host the conference alongside the Bahrain International Airshow will only re-enforce our commitment towards our members and business aviation in the region,” MEBAA Founding Chairman, Ali Al Naqbi, said.
“This announcement is great news for participants at BIAS. Chalet space is 100% already, but there are still opportunities to participate through corporate hospitality and the Airport, Security and Surveillance Pavilion,” Amanda Stainer, Commercial Director at Airshow consultants, Farnborough International Ltd, said.
