MANAMA: Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, on Sunday denied the allegations of interfering in Egypt’s internal affairs.
Egypt in Saturday ordered the Turkey’s Ambassador to leave Cairo for interfering in internal affairs of Turkey.
Responding to a question during joint Press conference with his Bahraini counterpart in Manama he said that his country did not interfere in the internal affairs of Egypt.
“They are our friends and it is our hope that the country will have a good government. However, the present break-off resulted from Egypt expelling the Turkish ambassador. We retaliated with expelling their ambassador, and that is normal,” he said.
“Turkey does not take sides with any party in Egypt,” he added.
