The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has inaugurated Wadi Hayyan service station. The station was inaugurated by the Chairman of Bapco’s Board of Directors and Acting Chief Executive, Adel Khalil Almoayyed, in the presence of other key national and company figures and personalities.
“The inauguration of the Wadi Hayyan service station complements Bapco’s committed efforts towards the continued development of its services in the oil and gas industry in Bahrain and this is a key milestone that the company is very proud of,” Bapco’s General Manager Marketing division, Khalid Ebrahim Buhazza said.
“This development will strive to encapsulate Bapco’s dedicated contributions to Bahrain’s economy,” he added.
The building of the Wadi Hayyan fuel station was completed on 20 June 2013, and is positioned to serve the southern region of Bahrain. The station occupies a total area of 6050 m2 and a canopy area of 775 m2, as well as a 120 m2 sales building and a 255 m2 mini mart and 280m2 of auto services among other expansive facilities. The new station can fill up to 4 heavy trucks & 16 cars at the same time. The station includes 6 Multi Grade Dispensers, 2 Diesel High Flow Dispensers and 2 Diesel/ Kerosene Dispensers.
“The new station reflects Bapco’s ongoing commitment towards fostering the process of continuous growth and development in the Kingdom with the adoption of latest applicable technologies in oil industry worldwide,” Buhazza, added.
