Every year, the Energy Institute (EI) Awards recognise individuals and organisations in the global energy industry for setting new standards of excellence and innovation in their daily activities. The EI Awards is designed to provide organizations with an opportunity to seek independent recognition for a particular project or an individual person, and to celebrate and raise the profile of its achievements. The EI Awards recognise the contribution and value to society made every day by those working in the energy industry. Entries are judged by an independent panel of energy professionals across eight different categories: Communication, Community Initiative, Energy Excellence, Environment, Innovation, Individual Achievement, Safety and Technology.
At a celebration held in London where Bapco was given the Highly Commended for Health and Safety and Community Outreach award. This award is acknowledgement of our impressive efforts in enhancing our health and safety system, in addition to our EHS week outreach programme which is held every two years. The award was received by Ahmed Khalil Manager Fire, Health and Safety.
