Batelco, Bahrain’s leading business communications provider held a workshop recently for a number of its SME customers. The workshop forms part of Batelco’s strategic key initiatives aimed at achieving improved experiences for its business customers with the aim of exceeding their expectations.
The main goal of the workshop was to provide the visitors with an overview of Batelco’s latest products, services and solutions particularly in relation to Cloud Services and listen to their feedback on the service in order to better meet their specific requirements in the field of Cloud Services. In addition to offering standard off-the-shelf products and services, Batelco can offer customised services for its business customers tailoring its delivery to match their customers’ specified needs.
Last year, Batelco launched its first cloud service ‘IMaaS’, a software as a service (SaaS) platform that enables organisations to build business decisions based on unique insights into their IT infrastructure.
Built to support organisations of any size, cloud enables decisions to be made based on transparency, visibility and effectiveness. The platform enables organisations to streamline business collaboration from a single, unified portal that can be mapped to any third party application.
“Batelco is committed to providing its customers with the best technology available in the telecommunication industry. Recognising that there is a critical need for organisations to better understand the value and business impact of their core infrastructure (routers, firewalls, switchs, servers etc.), Batelco anticipates that cloud will become a fundamental technology for companies who are serious about gaining market share,” Batelco in a statement said.
“Cloud will transform the way business leaders understand how their organizations run. It is a key part of a company’s ecosystem and the IMaas Cloud Services will complement this ecosystem making it more productive and cost effective from capex, opex and resources point of view,” Batelco General Manager Enterprise Division Adel Daylami, said.
“Cloud helps demystify complex IT data, resulting in solid decision making capabilities that work to drive profit margins up. Our customers will benefit significantly from using Batelco’s cloud services to unify their business management.”
