Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B) held its full day out with Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, where each month 20 randomly selected staff from the Bank is given an opportunity to spend a full day out of the office.
The initiative, organised by the KFH-B’s Human Resources Department, continues to prove successful and has contributed highly towards maintaining and strengthening communication bridges between the CEO and the Bank’s employees.
Staff had the chance to talk openly about various issues regarding the Bank in a friendly and relaxing environment; they shared lunch together and spent some quality time away from the work routine.
The participants discussed a range of topics which included, the expectations built on the employees within conditions under their control, the importance of self-assessment, managing self-performance and self-motivation, how the credibility of an employee is built within the Bank through organizational skills, preparation and making the most out of opportunities.
Among others, further additional topics that were addressed were how to enhance the customer experience and ways of making the Bank’s operations more efficient, not only through improving infrastructure but also through the individual effort of the employees and the targeting new markets with existing products.
“One of the key assets for any successful organization are its people and our members of the KFH-B family are constantly being encouraged to be leaders who will contribute, God willing towards taking KFH-Bahrain forward into a promising future,” CEO of KFH-B, said.
“Banking is a very complex business and there is nothing better than having a face to face meeting between the staff so they can share their thoughts and ideas in order to excel in such a challenging work environment,” he added.
