The Minister of Finance and Minister In-charge of Oil and Gas Affairs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, opened the Contractors and Oil Companies Forum organized by the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) at BAPCO Club in Awali.
The Finance Minister, in his opening speech, praised the positive participation of contractors, suppliers and consulting companies, and wished the Forum and all the participants success, adding the Forum aims to provide an opportunity to establish a strong strategic partnership among the oil companies, contractors and suppliers, and to make the opportunity available before contractors and suppliers to be engage into tenders offered by the oil companies to carry out construction works related to oil and gas sector.
Minister of Finance and Minister In-charge of Oil and Gas Affairs’ Adviser Engineer Abdulhussain Monfaradi presented a short brief on the NOGA and oil companies affiliated.
BAPCO’s Representative presented a detailed presentation on means of engaging into tenders offered.
The Forum was attended by NOGA’s Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Shirian, BAPCO’s Acting Chief Executive Engineer Adel Khalil Al-Moayyad, a number of NOGA’s senior officials and oil companies’ representatives, contractors and suppliers from Bahrain and GCC countries, who commended the high level of organization and presentations.
