In line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 42nd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 14th Anniversary of HM’s Accession to the Throne, State Minister for Telecommunication Affairs, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has inaugurated the Ministry’s logo.
He stressed that boosting national identity, cooperation, partnership and integration among ministries, government bodies, national companies and the civil society in developing the IT and telecommunication sector is a constant vision in the work programmes of the State Ministry for Telecommunication Affairs.
He added that the Ministry was working on developing the telecommunication services in line with the latest administrative systems and cutting-edge technologies and within the framework of professional ethics, creativity and transparency.
It is to note that the State Ministry for Telecommunication Affairs’ logo is inspired from Bahrain’s red and white logo which stands for the national identity and asserts commitment to development, cohesion and cooperation.
A two-year labour market national plan has today been approved. The ministerial committee for services and infrastructure today endorsed the (2014-2015) blueprint which will be submitted to the Cabinet for final approval.
