Following the meeting of the GCC Ministers of Interior in Manama, all parties have agreed to established Unified GCC Police force.
The Cabinet congratulated GCC Ministers of Interior on the decision of founding the Unified GCC Police, which was taken in their latest meeting in Bahrain.
State Minister for Information Affairs, Sameera Rajab during the weekly post Cabinet meeting briefing said that HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa chaired the regular Cabinet session on Sunday.
HRH the Prime Minister announced that HRH the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister and their Excellencies the vice presidents will begin to discuss the National Audit Report with their Excellencies the Ministers respectively and in regards to all the details and facts that were mentioned in the report to fill the gaps and the unresolved problems.
A directive was issued by HRH the Prime Minister that emphasizes on the importance of examining the issue of public debt to reach to a secure financial position.
The Cabinet extended its congratulations under the leadership of HRH the Prime Minister to Bahraini Women on the occasion of Bahraini Women Day affirming the importance of the Bahraini women role in all industries and her competency in the positions she holds without any discrimination.
The Cabinet thanked the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) for electing Manama as the Asian Capital for Tourism 2014. The Cabinet congratulated the Ministry of Culture on the achievements in this area, especially on the success of the Pearling Pathway project which was registered recently as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Cabinet praised the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in holding a number of major conferences in Bahrain, succeeding in supporting Bahrain’s role regionally and internationally, and reinforcing bilateral relations between Bahrain and the countries of the world.
