MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that Bahrain has always been the first to guarantee rights and ensure that everybody is given their due.
He pointed out that the Bahraini people is highly cultured and aware, and was able, thanks to its firm stances, to thwart the continuous plots staged against the Kingdom for the aim of complicating the situation and giving an international dimension to the crisis, and fail attempts of conspirators and those behind them to sow sedition.
He affirmed that attempts to seek foreign support are just manifestations of such conspiracy despite the fact that the doors of constitutional institutions in Bahrain are always kept wide-open for all points of view, urging more caution and vigilance as “policies that ignite turmoil and instability will continue”.
HRH Premier lauded the historic stances voiced by the Bahraini people who proved, throughout its national march, its unity and was capable of thwarting all attempts to dump Bahrain into chaos and crises, stressing that the “strength of Bahrain lies in its people’s ability to fortify the nation against conspiracies, and history is full of such stances that no one will ever forget.”
“I am lucky for having been constantly close to the Bahrain people, whose members have always rallied together and proved their loyalty to the homeland in all situations, especially in times of adversity,” he said.
HRH Premier voiced the stances as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace scores of citizens, led by religious leaders, intellectuals, press, media persons and businessmen.
The Prime Minister affirmed that Bahrain has always embraced those who seek national interests, and whoever seeks to sow sectarian divide among its citizens will certainly fail because it is an oasis of co-existence, tolerance and acceptance of the other, the same solid principles that have safeguarded the country from all attempts to shake its national unity.”
HRH Premier lauded the crucial role played by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), being the unifying home for all traders, expressing hope that the elections of the members of BCCI, as a parliament of the business and trade community, will come up with trade leaders who will support the economic march in the kingdom, whatever be their electoral blocs.
He pointed out that the Kingdom’s stability, security and highly competitive potentials have entitled it to be a hub of mega projects, exhibitions and conferences, stressing the need to take advantage of the existing financial liquidity to set up more trade and economic projects in the country amid the private sector’s desire to invest its capital here in order to support the efforts of the government to enhance the development and progress march and consolidate Bahrain’s economic position at the international level.
HRH Prime Minister underscored the government’s continuous efforts to provide integrated services for the citizens in all fields, emphasising that he will never accept any delay in delivering services, as “all officials, whatever be their positions, should be at the service of the citizens, wherever they may be.”
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the local press and columnists for their remarkable “patriotic” role in informing the relevant sides about the needs of the citizens, and keenness to counter all attempts to tarnish the Kingdom’s image and undermine its milestone achievements in various fields.
