Tamkeen, as part of its efforts to enhance its support programmes and services, announced today the launch of its second nationwide public opinion survey. The survey will cover a sample of 2,000 respondents from all five governorates, including both existing and potential Tamkeen beneficiaries.
Feedback collected will be used to update the data from the first public opinion survey, which was conducted in 2010, and serve as the basis for Tamkeen’s communication strategies moving forward. The survey, which will include both qualitative and quantitative methods, will encompass SMEs, entrepreneurs, graduates, professionals, job seekers, students, women, as well as the general public.
“Following the consultation sessions held last October, this survey will provide robust scientific data and insights directly from our stakeholders to help us better focus our communications, in line with our objectives as outlined in the 2014 operational plan of enhancing quality, and being more customer focused and results oriented,” Hala Sulaiman, Head of Marketing Communications in Tamkeen, said.
Data gathering for the survey, which is expected to be completed by February 2014, includes in-depth face-to-face and telephone interviews, web-based surveys, focus groups etc. among others.
Over 98,000 Bahrainis and businesses in Bahrain have benefited from Tamkeen’s support programmes to date.
