MANAMA: The Cabinet on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist incident that took place Friday evening, in which a security officer was killed and others were injured while carrying out their responsibilities in maintaining safety and stability in the Kingdom.
The Cabinet expressed their sincere condolences and prayed to God to grant the deceased martyr’s family patience and solace, and wished for a speedy recovery to all the injured security officers. In this regard, the Cabinet stated that the series of terrorist acts and sabotage that the country has witnessed recently is not acceptable at all in the peaceful Bahraini society.
They declared that all those who took part in these terrorist actions or encouraged and instigated sabotage and terrorism will face the full extent of the law. The Cabinet stated that there will be no empathy for all of those who committed or instigated acts of sabotage or terrorism that have harmed the homeland and there will not be any provision of amnesty for such terrorists.
The Cabinet confirmed that the government will continue to fight against terrorism in all its forms and instructed all the concerned bodies to strictly and firmly apply the law and impose it to its full extent on all those who act outside the boundaries of law and order. In this regard, the Cabinet acknowledged the security forces’ significant role in maintaining security and stability, as characterized by its efficiency and capabilities when facing acts of sabotage and terrorism.
