MANAMA: As part of its commitment to the community, Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading integrated communications services provider, announced the launch of its unique professional programme “Batelco Entrepreneur Programme”.
Batelco’s Youth Marketing team, in partnership with the company’s strategic partner, Tamkeen, and BDB, Bahrain’s leading development supporter, is organising this dedicated programme that is designed to help young Bahraini entrepreneurs start their businesses.
Batelco General Manager Consumer Division Muna Al Hashemi, BDB Deputy General Manager for Non Financial services, Shaikh Hesham bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, and Tamkeen’s marketing communication specialist Nawaf Alkooheji signed the agreement recently.
“All young Bahraini entrepreneurs, wishing to start their businesses, are invited to avail of this golden opportunity. In this programme, they will learn the secrets of success encapsulated in the invaluable professional insights to be presented by business experts,” Mrs Al Hashemi, said.
Batelco Entrepreneur Programme is a five-day course that is run over 5 continuous Saturdays. It features talks by six Bahraini entrepreneurs and business professionals, interactive lectures and inspirational training sessions, covering everything from finance and accounting basics, to marketing and business planning. The course will share real world experience from prominent business people who have made it: Ali Al Marzooq, Nada Bubshait, Hassan Haider, Amina Al Abbasi, Mariam Janahi, and Ahmed Al Anzoor.
To enrol in the programme, interested candidates should register by sending an email to youth@batelco.com.bh. Applications will then be screened and successful candidates will be contacted. Registrations will continue until February 23rd and the first course will take place on the first of March 2014. Upon completion of the course, candidates will be receive certificates and would be able to gain consultation support provided by BDB.
