MANAMA: President of General Organisation for Youth and Sports (GOYS), Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder, and Ibrahim Abdul Malik, Secretary General of Public Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare in United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a youth agreement in implementation of the decisions of the joint supreme committee for cooperation between both countries.
The signed agreement between two parties states the exchange of visits between youth leadership in both countries, and a visit of a delegation of distinctive young people of both genders to be informed on the activities and programmes held in both countries.
The agreement also includes exchanging invitations for participation in work camps, service of environment, youth activities and conferences in both countries.
The agreement comes within the aspirations of Bahrain’s efforts to frame ties with GCC states in the area of investing youth energies, and asserting the support of the joint programmes, in addition to creating understanding youth leadership that are able to maintain progress and prosperity march.
Marking the occasion, President of (GOYS) highlighted the importance of activating joint cooperation agreement signed between Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC states.
Al-Jowder asserted that signing the agreement ensures the brotherly relations bonding young people of UAE with their counterparts in Bahrain, pointing out the desire to achieve the aims of giving the Gulf youth an opportunity to have an active role in determining future visions for the Gulf region.
Ibrahim Abdul Malik highlighted that the agreement meets the aspirations and joint desire of both countries to consolidate the existing brotherly relations between them, and the belief in the youth role to develop relationships between nations.
