MANAMA: Ma’akum panel at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCI) elections set for Saturday 15th February is likely to claim a landslide victory.
The 16-member Ma’akum panel has emerged as favourite among the members of the BCCI during a survey conducted by The24XNews (www.twentyfoursevennews.com).
The survey results are based on the opinion polls during which BCCI members were asked a simple question that for whom they will vote from the 58 candidates who are vying for 18 seats for the 28th term of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry board.
The Ma’akum panel includes Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayed, Abdulhameed Al Kooheji, Kadhem Al Saeed, Khalid Al Amin, Mohammed Fakhro, Mohammed Sajid, Nabeel Kanoo, Othman Sharif, Mohammed Farouk Almoayyed, Jawad Al Hawaj, Deema Al Haddad, Isa Mohammed AbdulRahim, Ahmed Bin Hindi, Abdul Hakim Ibrahim Al Shemmari, Ali Hasan Mahmood and Adel Al Safar.
The survey results revealed that Ma’akum panel will win two-third or 12 seats out of the 18-member board while the remaining will be filled by the independent and candidates from other panels.
