DUBAI: Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2014 will bring to the region proven international practices in investments, according to the organising committee of the event.

“The UAE has put in immense efforts to create new avenues for foreign direct investment (FDI) as part of economic diversification and is offering exceptional facilitation through a series of legislations in an effort to boost confidence of international investors,” Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, in a prevent statement said.
The Organizing Committee of the AIM 2014, which is organised by the UAE Ministry of Economy, has said it will provide insights into current and future investment opportunities in the UAE, as 21 sponsors and partners from leading regional public and private firms have confirmed their support to the event which will be held from 8 – 10 April 2014 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, said that the 4th edition of AIM, which is organised under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, will be highly significant in terms of number of visitors, sponsors and participants.
The strategic sponsors of AIM 2014 are Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), which is home to over 7,100 companies; Economic Zones World (EZW), the global provider of sustainable industrial and logistics infrastructure solutions; Saud Bahwan Group, one of the largest and most respected business houses in Oman; The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), which works to create opportunities for investing of savings and wealth in securities and commodities; The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the major trading platform for national and foreign companies and a hub to invest savings and funds in securities and Dubai Financial Market (DFM), the leading financial market in the region.
The organising committee also announced Dubai Trade, the premier trade facilitation entity that offers integrated electronic services from various trade and logistics service providers in Dubai under a single window as The Trade Partner, Moreover, Emirates Airlines, one of the largest airlines in the world, is the Official Carrier of the international event.

This will reinforce the crucial role of AIM in promoting investments and making cooperation between countries stronger,” Dawood Al Shezawi, CEO, AIM’s Organizing Committee, said.
