MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa welcomed, at the Bahrain International Airport, his Tunisian counterpart Mehdi Jomaa, who arrived here on a visit to the kingdom to hold talks on ways of bolstering bilateral ties in all fields.
After reviewing the guard of honour, HRH Premier and his Tunisian counterpart headed to the VIP Lounge.
HRH Premier welcomed Jomaa’s visit, noting that it embodies the strength of bilateral relations.
He wished the Tunisian Prime Minister a happy stay in the kingdom, expressing hope that the visit will meet the expectations of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
The two leaders exchanged cordial talks on the march of bilateral ties and the efforts being exerted to boost them at all levels.
Then, the convoy of HRH Premier and the Kingdom’s guest headed to the Gudaibiya Palace.
A convoy of honour to accompany the Tunisian Premier, led by the Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, was formed.
