MANAMA: Minister of State of Interior Affairs Major-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel issued directives to develop services offered to the public to facilitate them in terms of time and location with accuracy in processing applications, stressing the importance of staff rehabilitation through specialized training to be able to offer services with the required competency and speed.
The Minister issued directives as he visited the Central Informatics Organization (CIO), and was greeted by the President Dr. Mohammed Al Amer and Directors.
The State Minister conveyed thanks and appreciation of the Interior Minister to the president and the staff of the organization for their distinguished efforts in offering services for citizens and residents with high competency and speed.
He highlighted the achievements of the organization in winning many local and international awards in smartcards and GIS.
The state minister underscored the importance of providing data, statistics and information which serve in drawing up development plans and projects in all sectors.
He was briefed about work flow and rules and procedures that ensure quality in performance and protecting and securing information as well as the role of the organization in supporting government establishments through the best utilization of IT.
Dr. Al-Amer hailed the visit of the State Minister, stressing the CIO drive to perform its responsibilities and the implementation of modern technology in collecting data and classifying them as well as using advanced systems to protect them.
