MANAMA: Mercury MENA Bahrain Squash League 2014 conducted in collaboration with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation and supported by Power Horse continues its exciting matches at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium.
The first match was between Federation A and Federation B. It was a match that tests the skills of participants. Ghous Rehman of Federation A defeated
Yousuf Al Hamad of Federation B scored 11/9, 10/12 11/9 and 11/9. Yousuf Jamal of Federation A played the next match in the game and defeated Abdulrahman Al Abbasi of Federation B with a score of 11/2, 11/9 and 11/3. Ahmed Abbas of Federation A defeated Yousuf Al Abbasi of Federation B scoring 11/8, 11/9 and 11/6.
The second match was held immediately after and provided tough competition between British Club and Golden Sands. British Club player Mattew Deakin defeated Golden Sands player Mike Hoy with a score of 11/3, 11/5, and 11/0. British Club player Jouri Vanleeuw defeated Golden Sands player Balint Feyer with a score of 11/8, 11/9 and 11/7. British Club player Malcorm Wrigllm defeated Golden Sands player Dimitry Burokoy by 11/3, 11/4, and 11/3.
Mercury MENA, in collaboration with the Bahrain Badminton & Squash Federation has hosted the much-awaited tournament, taking place at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town over a period of three months.
