ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad highlighted the significant economic benefits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s current visit to friendly Pakistan, especially regarding the trade and investment agreements which will be signed on its sidelines.
He said that the private sector relies on the efforts of the wise leadership, led by HM the King, to open up new horizons of bilateral cooperation with Pakistan, particularly in the economic field, noting that the visit will result in increasing the volume of trade exchange and generating joint investment projects that will benefit the Bahraini business sector.
He stressed that BCCI will take the initiative and take advantage of the visit through enhancing its openness to the Pakistani private sector in order to activate its results.
He added that BCCI will try to activate the Bahrain-Pakistan Business Council, and take part in the Bahraini-Pakistani Business Forum, to be held on the sidelines of the Royal visit.
He said that natural resources, qualified human resources, food security, petrochemical industries, heavy industries, technology, tourism, education and banking represent promising areas in which the two countries can boost their cooperation.
He lauded HM King Hamad’s constant efforts to bolster the kingdom’s ties with various countries, especially in the economic and business fields, noting that the Royal visits provide an opportunity to inform the international business community about the kingdom’s economic potentials, investment facilities and business-friendly environment.
He extended sincere thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for providing the necessary support for the private sector to enable it to explore more cooperation opportunities with many countries.
He explained that the efforts of HM King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, have yielded positive results and expanded areas of joint cooperation with all countries in various fields.
